What is Angry Momma Yoga?
Angry Momma Yoga came out of the need for there to be a space where we, as parents and caretakers don’t have to pretending to feel good when we feel angry, sad or exhausted. It came from the need to reject the dissonance and disconnection in oneself that so often leads to depression, stomach aches and other manifestations. Caretakers deserve a break; to be seen; to carve out time for ourselves. When we listen to the places where wisdom already lives — our intuition, our body - it helps us to clarify our needs.
Our signature offering is a virtual 5 part series for all levels of yoga practice. Angry Momma Yoga will help you cultivate emotional flow & revolutionary rest. Join us this year!
Is Angry Momma Yoga only for angry mommas?
No, you don’t have to identify as angry OR a momma. Anyone who identifies as a caregiver (parent, teacher, childcare worker, eldercare provider) is welcome to join us.
Caring for others is a balancing act between our own well-being and the health of our beloveds. Here at Angry Momma Yoga we believe that embracing clear boundaries and healthy “no’s” opens our our hearts for love to grow.
Is Angry Momma Yoga virtual or in person?
Our signature Series is virtual. Come make community with other mommas and caregivers around the globe as we practice self care. If you want an in person workshop get in touch!
How hard is the yoga?
Angry Momma Yoga is for all levels of movement practitioners.
Beginners and advanced yogis will find useful practices to metabolize anger, work through frustrations and reinvigorate your ability to give a sh**. We encourage everyone to try it out!
Angry Momma’s come in all shapes and sizes.
If you regularly take charge of the health and security of another human being you are invited to join us. We recognize that systemic and economic barriers make caring for ourselves harder. If you identify as black, indigenous or a person of color (BIPOC) OR are experiencing financial hardship, please fill out our contact form and let us know. Scholarships are available.
How much does Angry Momma Yoga cost?
Sliding Scale:

Sustainer – $525 (early bird $450) Sustainers make it possible for someone else to access Angry Momma Yoga workshops
Base – $400 (early bird $300)
Scholarship Rates (for Black, Indigenous, People of Color AND Poor and Working Class) – $275 (early bird $200)
